Kittens suffer

WE are well into summer and facing the same old heartbreak of hundreds of kittens being born, and homes available for only a portion of them.

So many are unwanted and have nowhere to go.

The callous and cowardly practice of dumping is ever with us and these little creatures wander bewildered and starving.

How much longer must such suffering continue before people and the powers-that-be realise that sterilisation is the only answer?

I agree Linda..get a local politician to go without shelter, food or water in the heat of the day..(if you are lucky) My heart bleeds for these tiny babies..who did not ask to be born and deserve love and protection. All you get will be councills slamming a licence fee on everyone to make money. No one cares and it makes me so sad. Get your cat sterilized if any one reads this. Do the right thing please.

I agree! maybe the only way to make a clear point here is to have a local politician, go without shelter, food or water in the heat of the day, Then they may have SOME idea of the suffering endured by these babies!
